Eli Lee is the author of A Strange and Brilliant Light, published by Quercus/Jo Fletcher Books in July 2021. A Strange and Brilliant Light won the Best First Novel Award at the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Awards 2022.

Eli has written for publications including the Financial Times, the i, the Quietus, Delayed Gratification, Vittles and Strange Horizons. She was fiction editor at literary journal Minor Literatures from 2014-2022. Her name, in case you were wondering, rhymes with ‘telly’.
